Each day we're on this planet is an event to enjoy.

You don't have to wait for Earth Day, Earth Week or Earth Month to harvest the latest sustainability news and events. Like us on Facebook or view our latest efforts by following us on Instagram. Our events are as varied as a field of wildflowers—so browse our garden of gatherings designed to educate, entertain and enact change. Earth Month

Earth Day is observed annually on April 22 to raise awareness for sustainability and demonstrate support for environmental protection. At Eco U, we celebrate all month long! Join us with these events to celebrate the Earth.

Heirloom Plant Potting

Tree Planting Prep

Fri. 4/22, 1-3:30 p.m., Wequiock Creek Natural Area
Wear weather-appropriate clothing and comfortable shoes. Supplies will be provided, but we recommend bringing a snack and water along. Sign Up

Arboretum Trail Cleanup

Sat. 4/23, 12:30-3 p.m., STEM Building
Meet at STEM center on the Green Bay Campus and work on cleaning up our Arboretum Trail. We recommend brining water/snacks for yourself; all other supplies will be provided. Sign Up

Biodiversity Research Symposium

Tue. 4/12, 3-5 p.m., Christie Theater
Cofrin Center for Biodiversity's student grant recipients will present their research.

Climate Teach-In

Mon. 4/18, 10 a.m.-3p.m., Christie Theater,* Zoom Virtual Event
Professors explore how media metaphors, business leaders, anger, refugees, literature and more relate to the climate crisis. Sections are 20-30 minutes. Check the University Calendar for schedule details. Come and go as you please.

Environmental Justice Exhibit

Tue. 4/26, 5-7 p.m., Phoenix Room A
Visit each station to learn how environmental activism is connected to struggles for justice and liberation. Hosted by Intertribal Student Council, Pride Center, Black Student Union, Leaders Igniting Transformation, Cofrin Center for Biodiversity and Sustainability Office.

Alternating between yoga and relaxing activities like coloring, meditation, and socializing. Hosted by the Mauthe Center and Eco-Friendly Phoenix.

Guided Meditation & Nature Walk

Connect with yourself, others, and nature with a guided meditation before going on a nature hike on the arboretum trail with Eco-Friendly Phoenix.

Nature Walk Wednesday

Reset and relax with a nature walk! Hosted weekly by the Psychology Department. Meet at 3:45 p.m. outside MAC Hall (entrance by Union).
