WiSys is a non-profit supporting organization of the UW System, serving as the dedicated technology transfer office for 11 universities.The strong partnership between WiSys and the UW System helps the UW campuses fulfill their roles as leaders in research, discovery and innovation. WiSys provides multiple applied research funding opportunities such as: Applied Research Grants & Prototype Development Fund

Wisconsin Teaching Fellows & Scholars Program

The WTF&S program offers UW faculty and teaching academic staff an opportunity to collaborate with other exceptional UW System teachers as they complete an individual SoTL project.

Institute for Research in the Humanities Fellowship

The Institute offers up to four external fellowships to humanities faculty from other campuses in the UW-System with release time from teaching and service for 1-2 semesters.
