Tom Haevers Hall
Tom Haevers Hall opened in the fall of 2004 and offers fully-furnished four-bedroom apartments with private bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and air-conditioning, with a capacity of 122 students, located adjacent to the Shorewood Golf Course and near the main pathway to campus academic buildings.
The Tom Maki Living Learning Center, located on the first floor of Tom Haevers Hall, provides a meeting and gathering place to promote collaboration and community learning, special events and activities, and small group meetings.

About Tom Haevers
Tom Haevers served as the first Director of Residence Life and helped develop quality, affordable on-campus housing and an active student community at UW-Green Bay. Haevers, a Green Bay native, joined the University in 1980 just as it was purchasing its first student housing—a privately developed apartment complex adjacent to the campus. By the time he retired in 2001, the housing "village" had developed into a park-like setting with 24 buildings and room to accommodate over 1900 students.
Haevers helped build a dynamic residence life program, supervised staff growth and promoted initiatives enhancing the on-campus atmosphere and student retention. His work earned him the UW-Green Bay Founders Association Award for Excellence in Academic support in 2000.
About Tom Maki
Tom Maki served as vice chancellor for business and finance at UW-Green Bay from 1991 to 2011. A native of Marinette, he joined the University in 1978. This Living Learning Center recognizes the vice chancellor for business and finance and his administrative leadership in helping UW-Green Bay build quality, affordable student housing.
