Eco Friendly Phoenix Living Community

The Eco-Friendly Phoenix Living Community aims to be a diverse and inclusive community for students interested in learning, growing, and organizing around sustainable change through an intersectional lens. This community will cultivate supportive relationships among students who care about environmental and social justice and want to transform themselves, their local communities, and global systems. Students in this community will live in a residence hall together while developing themselves and their relationships through socials, workshops, mentorships, and other activities.

UW-Green Bay was dubbed Eco U® by Harper’s Magazine and Newsweek in the early 1970s. Since our opening in 1968, our students have had the opportunity to get experience in the field, and be part of the "most exciting and promising educational experiment...anywhere." We are ecstatic to bring this initiative to a residential community and can't wait to have you join us for sustainable practices!
