Check-In Steps
Students arriving on campus are required to check in. Check-in consists of four important steps:
1 Pre-Check-In
To expedite the check-in process, all residents are required to complete certain pre-check-in steps online prior to their arrival using the UW-Green Bay Housing Hub. The pre-check in process will then provide you with a barcode that you will need to present to start the on campus check-in process.

2 Review Check-In & Assignment Information
After completion of pre-check-in, you are eligible to view your check-in and assignment information via the UW-Green Bay Housing Hub site. Check-in and assignment information includes:
- Date & time you are required to check in (you may be provided with check-in appointment date/time options to select from, depending upon your move-in date)
- Name & address of your check-in station (not necessarily where you will be living)
- Name & address of the your building of residence
- Roommate contact information
- Mailbox number & combination
3 Arrival & Check-In
When you arrive to campus during your scheduled check-in time, you need to present your check-in barcode at your assigned check-in station prior to moving your things in. You will not have access to your room or apartment until you check-in at the appropriate check-in station.
- When you arrive, park outside the building you are assigned. Do not unpack any items.
- Walk to the nearby building with a check-in station.
- When checking in, you must have your Campus ID card and check-in barcode with you.
- If family or friends are accompanying you, we suggest they unload your belongings while you check in
- For apartment residents, be sure to move in to the exact bedroom assigned to you. Be sure to review the assigned bedroom letters prior to unloading any items.
- As soon as you are done moving in, you must move your vehicle(s) to a nearby parking lot.
4 Room Inspection & Condition Report
Within 72 hours of your move-in date, it is very important to inspect your room and complete a room condition report online using the UW-Green Bay Housing Hub. The room condition report covers the following.
- Missing items
- Normal wear and tear / minor damages that don't require timely repair
- Cleaning requests for rooms / apartment not in move-in condition
- Repair requests for items that need repair as soon as possible by submitting a maintenance request in the Housing Hub.
- Housing & Residential Education takes pride in providing you with a fully furnished room or apartment that is clean and well-maintained.
- Please let us know if anything is missing or in need of cleaning or repair. This will allow Housing & Residential Education to respond appropriately and will protect you from being billed for items upon check-out
Maintenance Requests: Normal wear and tear items will not result in a charge. Maintenance Requests that come up after you have already submitted your room condition report may be submitted online using the maintenance request form in UWGB Housing Hub.

After You Unload
Park Your Car
After you've moved your things into your room, move your vehicle to one of the housing parking lots so that others moving in can park near the building. See parking Information.
Arrange Your Room
This is the fun part! Make your space your own and arrange your furniture how your and your roommate would like. You have the option to elevate your bed in a junior loft setting, or bunk the two beds. No personal bed lofts are allowed. Unpack your boxes and find a place for your belongings. Make your space your home.
Roommate Agreement
Usually roommates get along just fine, but when they do not get along, it is important to deal with the problems as soon as they arise. Please take the time to talk with your roommate now. If necessary, there are several resources to help address a situation. Resident Mentors (RMs) have been trained to assist with roommate concerns. If discussing your concerns with your roommate is unsuccessful, you are encouraged to talk with your RM, Hall Manager or Assistant Director. When you arrive to campus, your RM will have you and your roommate(s) complete a Roommate Agreement.
