Amulya Gurtu is a Professor of Supply Chain Management at the Cofrin School of Business in the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. He received his Ph.D. from Toronto Metropolitan University, Toronto, Canada, an M.B.A. from Ivey Business School, University of Western Ontario, London, Canada and an M.Tech.(Engineering) from REC, Bhopal, India.

Dr. Gurtu teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in supply chain management, logistics management, and project management. His research interests include optimizing supply chains, global operations and offshore outsourcing, while minimizing their impacts on the environment. His research is targeted toward the optimization of supply chains and global operations, while including the triple bottom line of sustainability (economic, environmental and social) for corporate organizations.

Dr. Gurtu is an Associate Editor of the International Journal of Systems Science: Operations & Logistics (Taylor & Francis), Operations and Supply Chain Management: An International Journal (OSCM), and the International Journal of Sustainable Economies Management (IGI Global), and a member of the Advisory Board of the Prestige Institute of Management and Research, India. He served as the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Sustainable Entrepreneurship and Corporate Social Responsibility (IGI Global) from 2017-2020.
