The University Advancement Office plays a central role in organizing many of the University's most important events and receptions. Because of this experience, we can be a valuable resource in providing counsel to others across campus who might be planning an event. Successful events require managing a lot of moving parts, but that doesn't mean it has to be overwhelming. Remember that events are just like a snowflake, unique and have their own purpose. On the Event Protocols and Event Scheduling pages, you will find useful forms and reference guides. You may contact Kassie Linzmeier, Manager of Events and Annual Giving, if you need further direction.

Chancellor Request

To request for Chancellor Michael Alexander to attend an event, complete the Pre-Event Planning Form and email it to Kassie Linzmeier, Manager of Events and Annual Giving, 2 months prior to your event. His office will respond, using the contact information your provide, to confirm his attendance and role. If Chancellor Alexander accepts your invitation, Kassie will be in touch to gather more information closer to the event.
